As dog lovers and owners, we know what is important for a relaxing holiday with your four-legged friends. Your dog – whether large or small, whether only one or two – is a welcome guest in our apartment.
Whether hiking directly from our winery in the hills or in the Chiana valley at our feet, the network of trails is endless. There is also an extensive network of cycle paths in the valley. Relax, bathe and play on our property on Lake Trasimeno. We have a lot to offer for two and four-legged friends.
Tuscany is generally known to be very dog-friendly. Whether in a bar or in a restaurant, you are completely relaxed here and your four-legged friend can come with you. According to the law, dogs are not allowed in closed restaurants, but this is not seen as closely.
In addition to the leash, the official regulations also prescribe a muzzle. But this only means carrying the muzzle. In all the years of everyday life with our dogs we have never been asked about it. Nevertheless, it is recommended to carry a muzzle with you in your luggage. Just in case.
There are shops for feed nearby and, which we do not hope for, but if a veterinarian is needed we will accompany you and your dog there to overcome any language barriers. There is also a clinic in Perugia that is open for 24 hours. For emergencies.
